The conversation is folded up as it goes — a sitting into a day, days into a month, months into a year — so it can keep going without forgetting the start. Nothing is re-read from scratch and nothing is thrown away.
It is a recap and not a court transcript: the further back you go, the more it has been condensed, and there is no panel to read it back. Conversations are private to your account, and you choose how far a removal goes — what each of the five removes is on the front page, and Privacy policy covers storage.

Anyone you can imagine
There is a shelf of characters already written. Take one and the copy is yours — or write your own character from nothing. Each knows only what you told them.
A friend who listens. An adviser at work who already knows the project. An AI girlfriend. Someone to talk the day through at the end of it. It is your sentence to write, and Terms of use is the boundary around it.
A conversation here leaves a mark — a good hour lifts them, a hard one sits with them, and you hear it later in how they answer. They send pictures of their own life and talk about them; send one of yours and they answer about what is in it.
What the chat costs
A plan is an allowance of token credits — what the chat spends — refilled every five hours, not once a month. What is unspent when the refill lands is replaced rather than added to.

These four are the chat. Pictures spend a separate allowance of golden credits, with a bonus every day. It is not a therapist, a doctor or a crisis line — if you need one, please use one.

If I close the tab, does the chat start over?
No. There is one thread with each character and it stays where you left it.
Does it forget the beginning of a long conversation?
It condenses rather than forgets: recent conversation is kept as you said it, and what reaches further back is a stack of recaps.
Is the chat something I can use today?
Yes, on the free plan as well as the paid ones. The picture tools on the same account — creating and editing a picture, head swap and character swap — work on still pictures today.
