How a head swap runs
Four steps, and the fourth is the one people skip.
1 · Bring the picture and the head
The shot you are changing, and one sharp photograph of the whole head: hairline, full hairstyle, nothing across it, at a close angle.
2 · Say who changes
With more than one person in frame, you say which of them is replaced. It is not guessed for you.
3 · Render
The head is fitted in and matched to the light and skin tone already there. Body, clothes and background are untouched.
4 · Watch the edges, not the face
Look at the hairline and the jaw first. Hair has no clean edge to cut along, so that join is where a swap is judged.

A head swap is drafted at 12 golden credits; whatever it settles at is confirmed on your account before a render starts. The daily bonus does not cover one on the day it lands. An unspent allowance is replaced at the refill rather than added to.

Questions about head swaps
Can I use head swap today?
Yes. Sign in and open the swap studio. Drop in a photo and you get a photo back; drop in a clip and you get a clip back.
What will one head swap cost?
The draft figure is 12 golden credits, and it is still a draft. Whatever it settles at is confirmed on your account before a render starts.
Does it take a photo or a video?
Both. It is the same tool and the same studio — a still comes back as a still, a clip comes back as a clip. Character swap works the same way.
Head swap or character swap — which do I want?
If the body and the clothes belong to the picture, swap the head. If the whole person changes, clothes included, that is a character swap.
What makes a good reference photograph?
One sharp picture of the whole head, nothing across it, lit evenly, at the angle of the shot you are changing.
What am I allowed to use it on?
Pictures you have the right to use, with people who agreed to appear in them. Putting somebody into a picture they never agreed to be in is not what this is for.
